The Original 1,8 vtec


This is the factory 1.8 vtec produced by HONDA for the INTEGRA.

It has a shorter stroke than the B18B, but shares the same bore. Added features include : internal vtec oil passages,internal piston cooling jets & main stud girdle. B18C5,C6 has the same head casting as B16A's, with factory improved hand porting. B18C1 (US spec), has a totally different cyl head. This head has taller intake ports, smaller combustion chambers & different top water hose location. The intake manifold on this head is dual runner configuration, and has a unique bolt pattern NOT shared with any other B-series head.
